Writing & Yoga in IRELAND 2016
Inkslingers in Ireland 2016 SOLD OUT.
Thanks to all 24 participants who helped create the experience of a lifetime on our 2016 Inkslingers Writing, Yoga and Exploration of Ireland Retreat!
In the summer of 2016, Inkslingers is hosting a writing, yoga and exploration retreat in lovely, literary Ireland!
Ireland is the home and inspiration of some of the greatest writers in the English language: James Joyce, Anne Enright, Oscar Wilde, William Butler Yeats, Maeve Binchy, C. S. Lewis, Edna O’Brien and Seamus Heaney, to name a few.
Come and steep yourself in the Irish landscape. Slow down and let the beauty and history of Ireland seep into your consciousness, and your writing.
Our writing, yoga and discovery retreat officially begins the evening of August 6th and concludes mid morning, on Sunday, August 14th.
After two nights in Malahide, our group will head off to Sligo (Yeats Country!) for two days, then to Ennis in County Clare on the west coast for two days, before returning to Dublin for the final two days. We have hired our own bus and driver/guide for our exclusive enjoyment on the trip.
Each day will begin with yoga at 7:00, breakfast at 8:30, followed by a 2 1/2 hour writing workshop.
Starting at noon every day we will enjoy an exciting tour or sightseeing excursion.
Yoga classes will be offered by yoga teacher and poet extraordinaire, Kate Marshall Flaherty.
The writing sessions will be led by Sue Reynolds, with support by Kate Marshall Flaherty and James Dewar.
