Esana in asanaIn Kripalu Yoga three primary aspects of yoga practice are fused: asana (postures), pranayama (breath) and meditation. The practice is always unique, fluid and seamless in its melding of these tools for awakening and self realization. At the root of the practice is love, compassion and loving kindness.

Esana & Deepam have co-facilitated numerous retreats over the past eight years. Their complimentary skills and attributes create an atmosphere of cooperation, ease and intuitive respect for the information of the moment. They share a love of the strong, and vulnerable, feminine awakening.

Sue here: Just to add my own note to this:

I have studied yoga off and on for years, but when I began doing yoga with Esana, I felt for the first time like my body was my partner in that activity – no longer inadequate, no longer a dumb and uncooperative animal part of me, but a beloved, honoured, and valued partner. A transcendent experience!
