I would highly recommend a Literary Adventure Retreat with Inkslingers. Through my experience in Ireland, it was evident the facilitators did extensive research and planning. The places we visited were fascinating, hotel accommodation excellent and the bus tour guide engaging. However, the experience was so much more. We were actually following the footsteps of literary giants such as Yeats, Heaney and O’Donohue and visiting the landmarks that inspired their own writing.
One of the many highlights for me was the experience of being in Lissadell House and listening to Sue Reynolds recite the poem Yeats wrote about this fascinating place he visited often. It was just one of the many moving experiences. Being with like-minded travellers and having such caring facilitators, that included so many personal touches, made this a life-changing experience I will never forget.
